Features:
This is a flat rod piezo designed for use with violins, but which is also great for Cigar Box Guitars!
They are designed to rest in a plastic channel (included) with the wooden violin bridge placed over top of it.
These can be used with the included mounting bracket and screws, with a saddle placed over top of the rod piezo, or they can be built into a wooden bridge.
The rod piezos respond best when they are exposed to the direct downward pressure of the strings through a rigid saddle (such as bone or brass rod).
These are especially good for building into biscuit bridges for resonator cones, as the centerered lead can easily go down through the hole in the top of the cone!
The length of the rod portion of these is 1.68". The width is 0.235". The leads are just over 8 inches long.
